Probationary Period
However, an employee who has worked for less than one week is entitled to the following notice periods:
Eight (8) days if paid on a monthly basis.
Two (2) days in all other cases.
Probationary Period for Indefinite-Term Contracts (Permanent Contracts)
The probationary period is set as follows:
Three (3) months for managerial staff (executives).
One and a half (1.5) months for employees.
Fifteen (15) days for workers.
The probationary period may be renewed only once.
Probationary Period for Fixed-Term Contracts
The probationary period depends on the duration of the contract and may not exceed:
One day for each week of work, up to a maximum of 15 days, for contracts lasting less than six (6) months.
One (1) month for contracts lasting more than six (6) months.
